To kick off the holiday season, Nevada State Contractors Board (NSCB) and its Commission on Construction Education welcome community members and companies across Northern and Southern Nevada to participate in its second annual “Tools for Schools” Holiday Drive, which will benefit construction programs at local schools, including Western Nevada College, ACE High School, Southern Nevada Trades High School, East Career Technical Academy, Southeast Career Technical Academy, and Shop Class Foundation, Inc..
“Investing in our future workforce is one of the strongest commitments we can make to the construction industry,” said NSCB Executive Officer David Behar. “The ‘Tools for Schools’ Holiday Drive has grown each year, and the outpouring of generosity from contractors, trade partners, and the community continues to provide students hands-on access to equipment that inspires learning, builds confidence, and nurtures career readiness. We are grateful for everyone contributing to the 2025 campaign.”
Nigro Construction, a Las Vegas-based commercial contractor, is supporting this year’s drive by serving as an additional donation drop-off location.
“We’re proud to support the Nevada State Contractors Board and be part of this year’s Tools for Schools Holiday Drive,” said Cory Frank, Vice President at Nigro Construction. “Any chance we have to invest in the next generation of skilled trades is important to us. The 2025 Tools for Schools Holiday Drive runs from December 1 – 31.
Individuals can drop off donations Monday through Thursday between 8:30 a.m.- 4 p.m. (closed Christmas Eve) at:
