~Dragon Lights Reno Holding Lantern Design Contest~
(August 21, 2024 – Reno, Nev.) – Dragon Lights Reno is looking for creative minds of all ages to submit their dragon designs for a special lantern to be displayed at the 2024 Dragon Lights Festival beginning September 27. Submissions must be received by Friday, August 30 to be considered.
“It’s the Year of the Dragon, so we are asking artists in the community to submit their favorite dragon drawings to be considered for a special lantern,” said Huiyuan Liu, event manager, Tianyu Arts & Culture. “Whether you’re young or just young at heart, this is your chance to have your artwork transformed into a stunning lantern at our Reno festival.”
Tianyu’s artisans will handcraft the winning design to be displayed with acknowledgement at the Dragon Lights Festival being held September 27 through November 30 at the Wilbur D. May Arboretum and Botanical Gardens within Ranch San Rafael.
The top three contest winners will receive FREE tickets to the festival, and the grand prize winner will get to see their lantern design in person.
