Chad Langille has been inducted as president of the Southern Nevada Chapter of ASHRAE, the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineers.
In this role, Langille will lead efforts to support HVAC and Refrigeration professionals across Southern Nevada through education, collaboration, and professional development. Representing a community of 182 members, the chapter serves as a key resource for industry professionals, offering technical programs, networking opportunities, and ongoing learning throughout the year.
Langille’s appointment also continues FEA’s longstanding leadership within the Southern Nevada chapter. He becomes the fourth FEA professional to serve as chapter president, following a tradition of leadership established by Robert Finnegan, who served from 1987-88; Boyd Erickson, who served from 1994-95; and Ryan Calahan, who served from 2022-23.
“I’m honored to serve as president of the Southern Nevada Chapter of ASHRAE,” said Langille. “I’m looking forward to working alongside our members to continue strengthening the chapter and supporting the growth of our industry here in Southern Nevada.”
As an active member of ASHRAE, Langille has been involved in advancing best practices within the HVAC&R industry and supporting the organization’s mission to advance sustainable building technology for the past five years. During his term, he plans to focus on member engagement, educational programming, and fostering continued collaboration across the local engineering community.
