Commercial Alliance Las Vegas (CALV) is presenting three classes in February designed specifically for commercial real estate professionals seeking continuing education.
The first class will be held Feb. 19 from 9 a.m. until noon on “No Gray Areas: Commercial.” It’s designed for commercial real estate professionals wanting a deeper understanding of ethics, legal responsibilities, best practices and more. Successful completion grants three hours of ethics credits good towards license renewal and National Association of REALTORS® requirements.
The second class will be held Feb. 24 from 1 to 4 p.m. on “Mastering Commercial Contracts.” Attendees will learn to draft, interpret and negotiate commercial real estate contracts while understanding legal responsibilities and risks. Attendees will earn three CE hours of contracts credits good towards renewing their Nevada real estate license.
Both classes are being taught by CALV Immediate Past President Jennifer Weinberg and held at the Las Vegas REALTORS® building at 6360 S. Rainbow Blvd.
The third class will be offered online via Zoom on Feb. 26 from 1 to 4 p.m. Taught by Jeff Chain, a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and CALV board member, the class is titled “Is this Land for Sale? Tell Me.” It introduces students to various types of commercial land, teaching them to develop research models for information needed to buy and sell commercial properties. Those who complete it can earn three hours of general CE credits toward their real estate license.
The cost to attend each class is $30 for CALV members, or $40 for all others. To register or get more information, visit www.CALV.org or call (702) 784-5050.
CALV President Karen Thomas, CCIM, said this is another example of CALV’s commitment to presenting fully accredited continuing education classes with an emphasis on commercial real estate, all taught by experienced instructors.
