Located at 6569 South Las Vegas Boulevard, Suite 173, Dinosaur Outpost is a hands-on, interactive experience where little explorers and their families enter a time portal to visit prehistoric eras. Once they arrive, they dig for fossils, take a ride alongside a rumbling volcano, feed and play with dinosaurs, and even try to train one of their new prehistoric friends!
Opened in April, Dinosaur Outpost is the brainchild of Timothy Clothier, a Las Vegas dad and founder of show props and display design company, Illusion Projects. He came up with the idea after bonding over dinosaurs with his young son.
Dinosaur Outpost regularly brings in new attractions, too. It recently added a fossil table, a tactile 3D experience that allows young explorers to assemble magnetic fossil remains. In addition, it’s now enhanced meatball wall lets adventurers watch their spicy meatball treats journey through twisty tubes before they drop into buckets to feed hungry Velociraptors, Paco and Hugo. Dinosaur Outpost has also launched customizable birthday party packages, all of which include admission to the full Dinosaur Outpost experience for all guests, a dedicated party host, snacks, beverages, and more.
