RENO, Nev. – Dolan Auto Group has announced the winners of this year’s Dolan Class Project by video today. Dolan Auto Group will be awarding $25,000 to one lucky school and following feedback from participants, and the incredible projects received this year, Dolan will be splitting the remaining $75,000 to each submission in the classroom category, awarding $2,000 to 37 classrooms for improvements.
This year’s School Category winner is Lemmon Valley Elementary School, who will use the funds to purchase more technology to help students, staff, families and the community at large. The school’s Class Project submission video can be found here.
Ryan Dolan, Dolan Auto Group CEO, formed the Dolan Class Project back in 2011. This simple project transformed into an annual, large-scale community partnership that strives to support Northern Nevada schools and organizations.
For this year’s Dolan Class Project, classes and schools were invited to submit a short 1-2 minute video providing an overview of a student-centered community project, as well as an explanation of how the funds will be used to improve their classroom, school or student’s learning experience.
“Education thrives when the community comes together,” said Ryan Dolan, CEO of Dolan Auto Group. “We thank all the educators and students who participated and the Northern Nevada community for voting. Congratulations to all the winners.”
