Students can choose from a mix of in-person and online options
Students planning to enroll in Fall 2023 classes at CSN should get started now — before their favorite popular classes fill up. Classes start August 28.
The college is offering students what they want: a mix of online and in-person classes in a plethora of programs, from Accounting to Videography, Air Conditioning to Welding. Many of these programs can lead directly to high-demand, high-paying jobs:
· Collision Repair grads earn Industry Council for Automotive Repair certification and are ready to work in an industry with a median wage over $50,000 a year.
· The Casino Management Program trains students for entry-level, supervisory, and managerial positions in the gaming industry — the largest employer in Nevada. The salary range is wide, but can reach six figures.
· Air Conditioning Technology students earn two coveted industry certifications, enter a workforce that’s constantly growing, and are on track to earn nearly $50,000 a year, on average.
· Any one of a trio of bachelor’s degrees in Environmental Science can lead to careers in areas ranging from forest-based fieldwork to policy think tanks to governmental agencies, with a median salary topping $75,000.
· Nursing students can become everything from Certified Nursing Assistants to Registered Nurses, with median salaries ranging from $30,000 to $77,000.
That’s just the start. CSN is the largest higher education institution in Nevada, with more than 70 different programs and 180 different degrees — more than 30 of them available entirely online. We also offer easy transfers to universities for those students who wish to take their first two years at a lower cost, and we’re the largest provider of dual credit programs for high-schoolers in the state.
