The City of Fallon, Visit Fallon, and Skiver Bootmakers are hosting the second annual Battle Born Broncs, a Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association sanctioned Xtreme Broncs event on June 13 and 14. The two-day, world class event will take place inside the new, state-of-the-art Rafter 3C Arena and televised live on the Cowboy Channel and Cowboy Channel + App. Tickets are available for those looking to watch the world’s top bareback and saddle bronc riders compete for $50,000 in prize money.
“We’re excited to bring the top 30 bareback and top 30 saddle bronc riders back to Fallon for the second year in a row,” said Darcie Spero, co-founder of Battle Born Broncs and Skiver Boots. “Our event will showcase a world class line up of some of the best bronc riders in the world along with the best horses. Last year, World Champion Stetson Wright and WCRA Million Dollar Triple Crown Bonus winner RC Landingham came to Fallon to compete. This year Wade Sankey is bringing the 2022 Saddle Bronc of the year, “The Black Tie” to buck at the Rafter 3C. The best of the best will be here for sure.”
Aside from the competition, spectators can check out the Western Market and Food Truck Round-Up for a variety of clothing, western goods, and food vendors. A Roughstock “Rodeo Camp” for all levels, ages seven and up will start the two day event followed by a welcome party at The Grid featuring a Calcutta and live band hosted by Skiver Bootmakers.
Doors open for the pre-show events at 4 p.m. and the main event begins at 7 p.m. Tickets range from $20 to $45 and are available now.
