[I was a] camp Counselor at Rye Recreation Center. I had a group of 30 eight year olds.

My parents taught me that hard work, playing fair and treating others with respect would encourage personal and professional success.

That I loved my family and made sure they knew just how much.

Never hit “reply all” by mistake.

What is an issue currently facing your industry an outside observer might not be aware of?
Economic growth is a double-edge sword: it creates economic vitality and growth but puts our quality of life at risk.
What career advice would you give your teenage self?
I would have taken more risks and started my own business.
What would be the title of your autobiography?
“East Meets West” – the story of a Manhattan gal transplanted to Reno.
What three words would you want your worst enemy to use when describing you?
Tenacious. Assertive. Clever.
If you had to live in another country for a year, which would you choose and why?
I’d live in Greece; I love the food, the architecture, and the thought of living in the place democracy came into being.
What is the best moment of your career?
My best moment occurs every day and one is always better than the last one.
If you could have dinner with any fictional character, who would it be and what would you have?
I’d dine with Stuart Little and we’d have lobster and baked potatoes with butter and sour cream.
What is your favorite thing about living in Nevada?
The opportunity to see so many stars at night.
