CARSON CITY, Nev. – Nevada Rural Housing (NRH) has announced that three Project-Based Voucher (PBV) Wait Lists are now open across rural Nevada, providing new opportunities for families, seniors, and individuals with disabilities to access affordable housing.
Wait lists for the following properties opened Monday, October 6, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. and will remain open through Friday, October 31, 2025, at 5:00 p.m.
Mountain View Village – Winnemucca, Nevada
- Mountain View Village offers three- and four-bedroom apartments and is currently accepting applications for households that meet occupancy requirements for these unit sizes.
- Occupancy policy: Two persons per bedroom; the head of household and spouse/co-head share one bedroom.
- Eligibility: Families, elderly, and disabled applicants who meet income limits established by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
Pioche Apartments – Pioche, Nevada

Located on Hollywood Way in Pioche, this new affordable rental community features one- and two-bedroom units designed for small families, seniors, and people with disabilities.
- Eligibility: Applicants must meet HUD income limits and all other program requirements.
Southgate II Apartments – Carson City, Nevada
- Southgate II offers one- and two-bedroom apartments for households with a head, spouse, or co-head aged 62 or older, or for persons with disabilities at any age.
- Eligibility: Applicants must meet HUD-established income limits and all other program criteria
