RENO, Nev. – Parlay 6 Brewing Co. will release its first barrel-aged beers on Wednesday, Nov. 26, debuting two small-batch imperial stouts at The Par by Parlay 6 Brewing Co. in Reno. Available just before Thanksgiving, the limited bottles are geared toward slow sipping, sharing and holiday gifting.
The new barrel-aged beers include:
- The Continuum – Imperial stout aged 14 months in Willett and Bowman Brothers bourbon barrels, 14.2% ABV.
- Trace of Darkness – Imperial stout aged 13 months in a single Buffalo Trace bourbon barrel, 14.3% ABV.
“This release has been a long time in the making,” said Mike Sotiriadis, co-founder and brewmaster at Parlay 6 Brewing Co. “We’ve spent more than a year letting these stouts rest in bourbon barrels. They’re big, barrel-forward beers meant to be opened on a special night, shared at the table or tucked away as a gift for the beer lover in your life.”
Both beers will be available in limited quantities on draught and in bottles to-go for $17.99 each, exclusively atThe Par by Parlay 6 Brewing Co. beginning Wednesday, Nov. 26, while supplies last.
The new releases build on Parlay 6 Brewing Co.’s growing stout program. Earlier this year, the brewery’s Coconut Mafia pastry stout earned a bronze medal in the Dessert Stout category at the 2025 Great American Beer Festival, one of the most respected competitions in American craft beer. The 10% ABV pastry stout is currently available on tap and in cans at The Par by Parlay 6 Brewing Co. in Reno.
