RENO, Nev. – It’s where cowboy hats and cocktail dresses collide. Where country music cozies up to classical. Where French horns meet longhorns. It can only be Rhythm & Rawhide, the wildly popular and uniquely Reno event that benefits the Reno Rodeo Foundation.
Presented by Dolan Auto Group, Rhythm & Rawhide returns Saturday, Sept. 9 to the brand new Glow Plaza Festival Grounds for a night of western entertainment, mouthwatering local bites and a special performance by Chancey Williams accompanied by the Rhythm & Rawhide orchestra.
Dr. Jason Altieri, musical director and conductor, leads the orchestra along with Chancey Williams, former saddle bronc rider turned neo-traditional, multi-award winning country music sensation.
Named iHeartRadio’s 2022 Rocky Mountain Country Music Awards Entertainer of the Year, Chancey Williams is a rising star in the world of country music. Raised on a ranch in Wyoming, Williams also won Songwriter of the Year for “The Saint” and Album of the Year for his most recent record “3rd Street.” He previously opened the 5th round of the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas and has toured with renowned country musicians such as Cody Johnson, Toby Keith and Alan Jackson.
“The Reno Rodeo Foundation is excited to bring Rhythm & Rawhide back to the community and its new home at the Glow Plaza,” said Clara Andriola, Reno Rodeo Foundation executive director. “Community is the core of the event and we look forward to bringing everyone together to celebrate an evening of food, fun and world-class music.”
This year attendees have multiple ticket options. The $275 VIP ticket includes a sit-down dinner and hosted bar during cocktail hour. The VIP dinner menu, curated by Roundabout’s Chef Colin Smith, features passed appetizers, fresh salad and a family-style plated dinner.

For VIP ticket holders, the celebration continues after the performance with a meet and greet after party hosted by K-Bull 98.1 FM’s Bob Richards.
The $50 General Admission ticket includes seating on the lawn; attendees can bring their own low-back lawn chair or blanket to spread out and enjoy the show and they can purchase food and libations from any of the participating vendors. Guests can purchase a two ticket bundle for a discounted price. Additional sponsorship packages and tickets are available.
