What was your first job?
My first job was a gymnastics instructor. I coached the boys competitive tumbling team and the cheerleading squad gymnastics.
Who in your life has been instrumental to your success?
I wouldn’t be anything without my mother’s empathy and my father’s work ethic. Having the ability to push as hard as possible while knowing when you are pushing your team too much is what has made me successful.
What career advice would you give to your teenage self?
Don’t be afraid to build it from scratch.
What do you want your legacy to be?
When I leave this earth, I can only hope that I have shown people that working hard and demanding the best can still exist in a relaxed and fun environment.
What is an issue currently facing your industry an outside observer might not be aware of?
Machine learning and A.I. generated content/suggestions/recommendations from the advertising industry is creating ethical questions that have never before been tackled.
If you had to live in another country for a year, which would you choose and why?
India. I drove a rickshaw across India with my wife last year and it was amazing to see a modern country still living with many ways from the past. It showed me a culture with Wifi and traffic that was still humble, friendly and happy.
What would be the title of your autobiography?
“Built with Love”
If you could have dinner with any fictional character, who would it be and what would you have?
Having dinner with the Mad Hatter would be awesome. And, I would only eat cake.
What is the best moment of your career?
When a co-worker wrote a review that said working with Rob meant pushing the limits, working hard and a sense of accomplishment once it was all done.

Do amazing things.
What was the toughest lesson you’ve learned in your career?
The only way to help your team grow, is to let them fall.
What is your favorite thing about living in Nevada?
All of the open spaces to climb, swim, fish, snowboard and play in.
