Sam Ryan Heidari of The Heidari Law Group and Abogados Con Experiencia presented the award of $10,000 to Julia Barnett, the tipster that gave information leading to the arrest and conviction of the hit and run suspect.The hit and run incident left 24 year old Bailey Smith with critical injuries that led to his death a few days later.
On March 27th at the Palm Northwest Mortuary, the reward was presented by Sam Ryan Heidari to Barnett during a celebration of life for Bailey Smith.
Tipster Julia Barnett overheard a conversation in a 7-Eleven by the suspect admitting he had hit Smith with his vehicle and fled the scene. She then called CrimeStoppers where authorities were able to use the information to arrest and convict the suspect.
The Heidari Law Group and Abogados Con Experiencia offered the reward when the incident happened in hopes to bring justice to the Smith family.
