Nathan Adelson Hospice is proud to welcome back one of its longest-running events, the 24nd Annual Wine & Food Tasting Extravaganza, on Wednesday, Oct. 22 at The INDUSTRIAL Event Space, located at 2330 S. Industrial Rd. Las Vegas, NV 89102.
More than 500 community members and supporters are invited to sample delectable wines and fine fare from some of southern Nevada’s most notable restaurants, while enjoying live music, fundraising activities such as ‘wine ring toss,’ the famed ‘Butterfly Wall,” where every purchase wins a basket valued at a minimum of $100, and silent auction items.
The popularity of the “Extravaganza” continues to grow each year with many local vendors providing sample tastings including, Johnson Brothers of Nevada, Crazy Pita Rotisserie & Grill, Curator Catering, Echo & Rig, D’Agostino’s Trattoria, On Demand Sushi, Evel Pie and Taste of Asia.
“We’re thrilled to welcome everyone back for one of the most exciting nights of the year,” said Stephanie Forbes, philanthropy officer at Nathan Adelson Hospice Foundation. “This celebration not only brings our community together over incredible food and wine, but it also directly supports vital programs like the Families in Need program and the Uncompensated Care program, which truly makes a difference in the lives of our patients. It’s an evening to indulge, connect, and give back.”
The Families in Need Program helps patients and their families with necessities when they do not have the means to pay for them themselves. This one-time emergency assistance includes paying for rent/mortgage payments, utilities, and groceries.
The Uncompensated Care Program at Nathan Adelson Hospice ensures that all patients receive the quality care they need. The funds received for the program enable patients and their loved ones to receive exceptional hospice care, regardless of their financial situation. Each year, Nathan Adelson Hospice Foundation provides over $1 million to uncompensated hospice and palliative care, and unreimbursed programs and services for the uninsured and underinsured.
Event attendees must be 21 years of age or older. Tickets start at $125 per person, with sponsorship opportunities available. Tickets can be purchased by calling Cassondra Farris at Nathan Adelson Hospice at 702-938-3928 or online at nah.org/get-involved/events
