LAS VEGAS – Olive Crest is honored to announce a remarkable $2.5 million pledge from Erin J. Anderson and the A. Gary Anderson Family Foundation to establish the PROMiSE Drop‑In Center, a specialized safe‑access space for minors who have been sexually exploited. A part of a larger PROMiSE Initiative (Prevention and Restoration of Minors Impacted by Sexual Exploitation), this new center will serve as a critical point of safety, stabilization, and healing for some of Southern Nevada’s most vulnerable youth.
This is the Foundation’s second $2.5 million investment in Olive Crest’s work in Southern Nevada. Their initial transformational gift served as the lead contribution to launch the Vegas Cares About Kids Comprehensive Campaign, enabling the first phase of development for Olive Crest’s future campus, including the Children and Family Resource Center and 16 apartments for young adults aging out of the child welfare system.
A New Lifeline for Trafficked Youth
The PROMiSE Drop‑In Center will offer access to safety, crisis intervention, basic needs, clinical care, and long‑term support for sexually exploited minors. The center will be located on the newly acquired property at 4233 N. Rancho Drive, which will also host Olive Crest’s broader campus and expanded services for children and families. The acquisition of this site marks a major step forward in Olive Crest’s long‑term vision for increasing capacity and expanding impact across Southern Nevada.
“Erin Anderson and the A. Gary Anderson Family Foundation continues to demonstrate what visionary philanthropy looks like,” said Jimmy Monaghan, Executive Director of Olive Crest in Nevada. “This remarkable gift ensures that children who have endured unimaginable exploitation will finally have a safe, welcoming, and healing place to turn. Their leadership once again strengthens the foundation for lasting change in our community.”
A Family Legacy of Compassion
“Our family believes in creating pathways for safety, stability, and hope,” said Erin Anderson, CEO and President of the A. Gary Anderson Family Foundation. “The PROMiSE Drop‑In Center responds to an urgent and growing need in our community. We are grateful to help bring this vision to life and to partner with Olive Crest in championing the futures of children in crisis.”
Forward Momentum Toward a Safer Southern Nevada
With the property now secured and foundational support from the A. Gary Anderson Family Foundation firmly in place, Olive Crest is taking significant strides toward expanding vital services that protect children, strengthen families, and address the root causes of instability in Southern Nevada.
