Reno included as a “Best New Focus City” nominee thanks to the launch of ExpressJet’s leisure brand, aha!
RENO, Nev. — With the launch of aha!, ExpressJet’s leisure brand, Reno is a nominee in the “Best New Focus City” category for the 2022 Cranky Network Awards.
Combining value-priced fares and nonstop flights, aha! began flying last October from its home base at Reno-Tahoe International Airport to an initial eight cities. The airline currently serves 10 markets from its Reno-Tahoe hub and plans to reach more than 20 destinations in the western United States in the coming months.

Reno also received a mention in the “Most Clever Flight Number” category for Alaska Airlines flight 777 from Reno to Seattle.
The annual Cranky Network Awards presented by Ontario International Airport, were created by Cranky Flier, LLC to recognize excellence in network achievement. This year’s Cranky Network Awards winners will be announced during a livestream from the University Club in Pasadena, Calif. On February 24 at 6:30pm PT/9:30pm ET.
