Fearless, relentless, tenacious.
What is an issue currently facing your industry an outside observer might not be aware of?
The extent and intensity of poverty, hunger and homelessness. We can’t end homelessness without building homes.
What do you want your legacy to be?
As founder of Veterans Village Las Vegas, I want my legacy to be that I was committed to ending homelessness in Nevada and across the United States.

If you could have dinner with any fictional character, who would it be and what would you have?
Superman. [We’d have] an unlimited amount of food to cure hunger, a condition no one should ever experience.
What is the best moment of your career?
In 2007, I received the National Daily Point of Light award, which recognizes individuals making a difference in their communities through service, from the late President George H.W. Bush.
What would be the title of your autobiography?
Service to Our Community.
What is your favorite thing about living in Nevada?
It is the greatest and most diverse place on earth.
