Las Vegas- Attorney Sam Ryan Heidari of the Heidari Law Group will hold a press conference outside of the Las Vegas District Courthouse steps on Monday, February 27th 2023 at approximately 10:30 AM to discuss the sentencing of Adam J. Farias for the murder of 24 year old Bailey Smith, a motorcyclist who was a victim of a hit and run on September 23rd while driving to his work in Las Vegas.Kelli Anne Norton, the mother of Bailey Smith and represented by Heidari, will be present as well as tipster Julia Barnett, who gave Crime Stoppers information leading to the arrest and conviction of Farias. Barnett was in a 7-Eleven when she overheard Farias describing to another person that he had run over Smith and had fled the scene. “I’m glad I made the choice to step forward and say something. It’s scary to make that decision, but it helped bring the family justice, so I’m glad I reported what I heard” states Barnett.
