New Mediterranean restaurant opening in Henderson, offering free food while supporting Project 150
LAS VEGAS – Bok Bok Chicken is helping local high school students in need while expanding its footprint in Southern Nevada with the Oct. 5 opening of its second location.
Bok Bok Chicken opened its first location in August at Lake Mead Boulevard and Buffalo Drive, near Summerlin.
Its second location is opening at 725 S. Green Valley Parkway, Suite 150, at Horizon Ridge Parkway, in Henderson.
As with its first location, Bok Bok Chicken’s newest restaurant will be offering free food during its opening weekend of Oct. 5-7 and donating a percentage of sales from its first month of operations to local charity Project 150.
The owners of Bok Bok Chicken are inviting everyone to visit the new location in Henderson to enjoy their Mediterranean flavors free of charge from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 5, and from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 6 and 7.
To celebrate the opening of its second location and contribute to the community at the same time, Bok Bok continues its support of Project 150, which serves homeless, displaced and disadvantaged high school students throughout Nevada. Guests can help raise much-needed funds for Project 150 by purchasing any item on the menu at the Henderson restaurant during its first month in business. Bok Bok Chicken will donate 5 percent of all sales from its new location from Oct. 5 through Nov. 5, 2018. Bok Bok founders have already donated $5,000 to Project 150 from sales of its first location near Summerlin.
Bok Bok Chicken plans to open two other locations around Southern Nevada this year, including restaurants in the Centennial Hills area and in the Southwest part of Las Vegas. A fifth location is planned to open next year in Town Square on the south end of the Las Vegas Strip.
“We’re excited about launching our second Bok Bok location and want our guests to have a wonderful dining experience,” Bok Bok founder Silva Chamanian said. “After the amazing reception for our first location, we can’t wait to welcome more happy customers who are looking for quick, healthy and delicious meals made from our family recipes.”
The menu features signature dishes including beef shawerma, rotisserie chicken, and made-to-order falafel. Bok Bok will also offer a diverse variety of beverages including Tan and Sumac lemonade.
Bok Bok Chicken is a fast-casual concept with restaurants ranging in size from 1,100 to 2,400 square feet, offering between 36 and 55 seats at each location. The restaurants are open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week. Bok Bok will employ more than 50 people by the time it opens its third location.
