The 58th Society for Historical Archaeology Annual Conference on Historical and Underwater Archaeology took place in New Orleans, Louisiana from January 8 to 11. Broadbent’s cultural resources Division Manager, Margo Memmott, who was in attendance at the conference was able to reconnect with former University of Nevada, Reno classmates now teaching and working across the U.S. She also found inspiration from her colleagues’ research in urban archaeology that she hopes to apply to her ongoing research in Virginia City, Nevada
