Broadbent & Associates, Inc. (Broadbent) attended the 2025 Virginia City Hillclimb on September 15th where they sponsored Aaron McIlvain, Associate of Ship-Right Resources (a Broadbent subsidiary company). The Virginia City Hillclimb is a time-attack style race where drivers compete against the clock, racing from the bottom of Comstock Highway 342 to the entrance of historic Virginia City. The course draws some of the fastest supercars and most skilled drivers from across the region. McIlvain transformed his 1986 Pontiac Fiero GT into a vehicle specifically engineered for hill climb racing: powered by a 363 cubic inch Chevy V8 delivering 500hp and 460tq, outfitted with state-of-the-art suspension, and equipped with advanced safety features. McIlvain completed the hill climb with a time of 4 minutes, 29 seconds.
