To celebrate this milestone, Broadbent hosted a successful open house that brought together Broadbent employees, the local community, and industry professionals.
The open house event featured an outdoor gathering with opportunities for networking, light bites, and a tour of the expanded facility. Attendees had the chance to explore the new spaces and see firsthand the improvements that will support Broadbent’s growing team which will enhance their ability to serve the region. This is a testament to Broadbent’s commitment to fostering community connections and providing an inviting workplace environment.

A highlight of the new office is a stunning mural painted by Lynne Kistler, a fifth-generation Nevadan and accomplished artist. Kistler’s mural beautifully captures the essence of Liberty Lake in the Ruby Mountains of Elko County. The mural serves to showcase the stunning landscapes that are cherished by the community and symbolizes Broadbent’s commitment to celebrating and preserving the unique cultural and natural resources of northern Nevada while integrating local art and community values into their office environment.
Broadbent’s Elko office, established in 2020, provides environmental, water resource, and engineering services tailored to the needs of northern Nevada. The location allows Broadbent to better support the local community and increase the personal attention dedicated to its rural projects.
