Broadbent & Associates, Inc. (Broadbent), a leading environmental, water resource, and civil engineering firm, is pleased to announce the recent expansion of their senior staff. Candice Ingle and Kristi Sexton-Rodriguez joined the company as staff geologists over a year ago and have recently been promoted to senior staff positions.
As senior staff geologists, both Ingle and Sexton-Rodriguez will work with project managers to support fieldwork activities while driving project execution and ensuring that all health and safety procedures are being followed. Fieldwork activities that fall within the scope of their responsibilities include soil and groundwater characterization, remediation system operation and maintenance, and water resource activities. Both Ingle and Sexton-Rodriguez will also be responsible for assisting with daily documentation including maintaining site safety and field logs.

Ingle is a U.S. Army National Guard veteran and has a bachelor’s degree in science from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She has two teenage children who are actively involved in Henderson and Boulder City community sports at which Ingle actively volunteers. When she is not working, Ingle can usually be found spending time with her children, sewing, or hiking.
Sexton-Rodriguez has a bachelor’s degree in geology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and is a member of the Society of Economic Geologists (SEG). She is the recipient of numerous grants including the Nevada NASA Space Grant, the Office of Undergraduate Research Fellowship, and the Nevada EPSCOR Grant. In her spare time, Sexton-Rodriguez enjoys camping, traveling, reading, and spending time with her two dogs, Cornelius and Toby.
