Broadbent & Associates, Inc. (Broadbent), a full-service environmental consulting firm with over 35 years of experience offering environmental, engineering, and water resource services, is pleased to announce the addition of Joscelyne Guzman-Gonzalez as a senior staff scientist in its air quality division.
Guzman-Gonzalez brings a strong academic background to Broadbent, having recently earned her PhD in environmental science and engineering from the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). She also holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in physics. In her new role, she will be responsible for air quality permitting and compliance, including assisting with emission inventory reports, preparing air permit application packages, and supporting air dispersion modeling efforts. Additionally, she will work directly with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with state and federal environmental regulations.

Originally from El Paso, Texas, Guzman-Gonzalez recently relocated to Henderson, Nevada, to join Broadbent. In addition to her professional expertise, she enjoys reading thrillers, scrapbooking, and attending live music performances. She has also been active in community service, previously volunteering at El Paso Animal Services, where she helped care for shelter dogs and cats.
