LAS VEGAS – The Commercial Alliance Las Vegas (CALV) presented awards to three local real estate industry leaders this week, honoring Deirdre Felgar as its Member of the Year, Nolan Julseth-White as Volunteer of the Year and Tina Anderson as CALV’s Contributor of the Year.
CALV announced the awards as part of its 17th annual CALV Educational Symposium held Sept. 12.
Felgar, a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), is a longtime real estate executive and broker at Avenues Realty America in Las Vegas. She serves on CALV’s Board of Directors and has played a key role in CALV’s educational programs.
Julseth-White, CCIM, has served on CALV’s Board of Directors and led volunteer efforts for several of its initiatives, including its support for the Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth. He is the managing director of SVN/The Equity Group in Las Vegas.
Anderson is the executive director of the Nevada chapter of the Appraisal Institute, which partnered with CALV on its Educational Symposium. CALV leaders credit her with expanding and improving the annual event to involve more local real estate appraisers.
The symposium at the Orleans Hotel & Casino included continuing education classes specifically designed for commercial real estate professionals taught by nationally known instructor Patricia Lynn, along with a lively panel discussion featuring several local industry experts, and an informative luncheon presentation on the local real estate market and economy from Brian Gordon, of Applied Analysis.
