LAS VEGAS – Commercial Alliance Las Vegas (CALV) is presenting two classes for local real estate professionals on Oct. 9, with one on “Introduction to Business Brokerage” and the other on “Collegiality – Communicating with Peers and Clients.”
The class on being a business broker runs from 9 a.m. until noon. It will be taught by CALV President-elect Jennifer Weinberg, a residential and business broker with BHHS Nevada Properties in Las Vegas. She said those who attend the class will gain a basic understanding of the roles, transactions and processes involved in being a business broker.
The class on collegiality will be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The instructor is Deirdre Felgar, member of CALV’s Board of Directors and a longtime local real estate executive whose professional designations include Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI), and At Home With Diversity (AHWD®). Her class will help participants understand and work with various personality types and learning styles to successfully navigate commercial real estate transactions.
Classes will be held at the Las Vegas REALTORS® building at 6360 S. Rainbow Blvd. The cost per class is $20 for members of CALV and its affiliated organizations, or $30 for others.
