In an effort to support Las Vegas Girl Scout Troop #760, as well as military personnel around the globe, CAMCO will host its Third Annual Girl Scout Cookie Party. This year’s event will be held on Valentine’s Day, Tuesday, Feb. 14, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the CAMCO office, 4775 West Teco Avenue, in Las Vegas.
Girl Scouts Mylee and Emilee McLaughlin will sell cookies at the event. In addition to buying cookies to support the Girl Scouts program, the McLaughlin sisters are also asking attendees to purchase additional cookie boxes to donate to Munchies 4 the Military. The charity effort sends snacks, cakes, and comfort goodies to U.S. military personnel serving in the Middle East.
“In an ongoing effort to support the Girl Scouts in our community, we are thrilled at the opportunity to host our third annual cookie drive,” said Mary Rendina, CAMCO’s director of marketing. “The fact that each year we have donated hundreds of boxes to various causes makes it that much more rewarding for our team. As the parent of a military serviceman, this year’s girl scout cookie campaign is especially close to my heart. I am grateful to Mylee and Emilee that at such a young age, they recognize the importance of charitable giving.”
The event is open to the public. Cash and credit card payments are accepted; Mylee and Emilee hope to exceed last year’s goal of 100 donated boxes. Both scouts also have ambitious overall sales goals, Mylee, 3,000 boxes, and Emilee, 1,500. Cookies can be purchased at the event, or, starting Feb. 27th, they can also be purchased online at either Mylee’s or Emilee’s cookie sale website addresses listed below.

Arrangements can be made for online purchases to be picked up at the CAMCO office. Or, for a small fee, the boxes can be shipped. Flavors include: Adventurefuls, Lemon-Ups, Trefoils, Do-si-dos, Samoas, Tagalongs, Thin Mints, Girl Scout S’mores, and Toffee-tastic. This year’s new flavor, Raspberry Rally, is only available online.
