LAS VEGAS – NAIOP Southern Nevada President-elect Cassie Catania-Hsu and chapter member Jim Ryden have been appointed NAIOP Research Foundation governors.
Catania-Hsu is the managing director and market leader of the CBRE office in Las Vegas. She oversees all CBRE Advisory lines of business for the region, including advisory and transaction services, capital markets, debt and structured finance, property management, and valuation and advisory services. She has more than a decade of experience in commercial real estate and has received numerous accolades. In 2018, Catania-Hsu was recognized by NAIOP as both the National Developing Leader of the Year and Southern Nevada Developing Leader of the Year. Catania-Hsu began her affiliation with the organization as a Research Foundation Visionary.
Ryden is CEO of Ryden Investments, LLC. His career spans more than 35 years in industrial real estate, formerly serving as co-CEO of Space Center, Inc., a national industrial real estate owner/developer with 20 million square feet of logistics real estate. He has been a NAIOP member since 1997 and is a past chair and longtime member of the Industrial Development I National Forum. He has been a member of the NAIOP Southern Nevada chapter since 2019.
The NAIOP Research Foundation was established in 2000 as a 501(c)(3) organization. Its mission is to provide practical research and education that allows commercial real estate owners and developers to successfully capitalize on new trends and address challenges in the industry.
