LAS VEGAS (April 14, 2026) – Linda Perez, CEO of The Shade Tree, a 24-hour accessible shelter designed to specifically meet the needs of those escaping domestic violence, human trafficking and homelessness, their children and pets (through a partnership with Noah’s Animal House), is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Creasey to the nonprofit’s board of trustees.
Creasey is executive vice president for Suffolk Construction and has been in the construction industry for more than 35 years, with over 26 years focused on gaming and hospitality projects. Throughout his career, he has contributed to the development of many iconic Las Vegas properties, including The Cosmopolitan, Caesars Palace, CityCenter, Encore, Flamingo, Red Rock and Green Valley Ranch, as well as The Shade Tree. Creasey has been philanthropically active in the Las Vegas community since moving to the valley in 2003 and previously served on The Shade Tree board of trustees.

The Shade Tree, located at 1 West Owens Ave., has served Southern Nevada for more than 37 years. The organization offers residential areas with sleeping rooms, a children’s activity center, meals, case management services, programming, housing assistance and more.
