For Immediate Release:
Chuck Alvey Announces Leadership Development NIL Partnership with Nevada Wolf Pack Forward Kaleb Lowery
(February 5, 2026 – RENO, Nev.) — Chuck Alvey, Vistage Chair and founder of The Alvey Company, LLC, is pleased to announce a Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) leadership development partnership with University of Nevada, Reno men’s basketball forward Kaleb Lowery. The partnership creates a unique opportunity for peer-to-peer leadership learning, where a competitive student-athlete and seasoned business leaders will exchange perspectives on growth, resilience, and continuous improvement.
Lowery, a graduate student and senior forward from San Diego, Calif., brings energy, competitive spirit, and thoughtful leadership to the Wolf Pack roster. Standing 6-8 and playing an important role for Nevada, Lowery’s on-court experience complements his leadership exchange with Vistage members.
Under the agreement, Lowery will participate in leadership discussions and sessions with Alvey and his Vistage peer groups. The goal is mutual growth with Lowery gaining insight from experienced leaders while offering his fresh perspective as a dedicated, team-oriented athlete chasing excellence both on and off the court.
“With this partnership, we’re focused not on titles, but on mindset, how you think, how you treat people, and how you learn from every experience,” said Chuck Alvey, Vistage Chair. “Kaleb is a kind, intelligent, and thoughtful young man whose drive and attitude reflect key qualities of leadership. His potential is incredibly bright, and we’re excited to support him as he continues his journey.”
Lowery shared that one of his biggest takeaways from the initial meetings is that setbacks don’t define you — how you respond does. That perspective helped him recognize that strong leaders stay engaged, remain patient, and consistently look for ways to improve rather than letting challenges hold them back. Hearing leadership framed this way made it feel more realistic and achievable, not perfect. For Lowery, leadership is about growth, reflection, and always moving forward.
“What’s already stood out to me about Vistage is how much it reminds me of a basketball team,” said University of Nevada, Reno Wolf Pack basketball player Kaleb Lowery. “Everyone has a role, everyone is learning, and the goal is to help each other improve. That kind of teamwork creates an environment where real growth can happen.”
Lowery will balance his leadership development with the final stretch of the college basketball season, including the Mountain West Conference schedule and a possible NCAA Tournament appearance, while also preparing for upcoming shoulder surgery. Alvey and his Vistage groups will track Lowery’s leadership growth throughout this time, focusing on resilience and character building as essential components of success.
This NIL partnership highlights the value of aligning leadership development with real-world experiences and reflects a commitment to helping emerging leaders thrive while fostering an environment of ongoing learning.
