LAS VEGAS (June 11, 2026) – Nationally recognized Claggett & Sykes Trial Lawyers announced today the donation of $425,000 to the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada, supporting the organization’s continued expansion of legal services throughout the community. Since 1958, Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada has provided free legal services for survivors of domestic violence, crime, consumer fraud, and children and families navigating foster care.
The $425,000 donation was given by Claggett & Sykes, who visited Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada’s headquarters to present the donation. The contribution comes from the Claggett & Sykes Charitable Foundation, the Sean and Lou Claggett Charitable Foundation, Will and Brianne Sykes, and Matt and Tricia Granda, aimed at supporting the Advocacy & Justice Complex, a transformational facility designed to expand access to legal services for thousands of vulnerable individuals and families in the Las Vegas Valley. This donation follows Claggett & Sykes’ donation of $250,000 in 2025 towards Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada’s campus fundraiser.
“The need for justice has not slowed down, and neither has Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada,” said Sean Claggett, partner at Claggett & Sykes Law Firm. “For decades, their team has continued showing up for victims, families and individuals facing some of life’s most difficult circumstances. We are proud to support an organization that continues to make a profound impact across Southern Nevada.”
The contribution was supported by the firm through several distinct donations, including:
· $250,000 from the Claggett & Sykes Charitable Foundation
· $100,000 from the Sean and Lou Claggett Charitable Foundation
· $50,000 from Will and Brianne Sykes
· $25,000 from Matt and Tricia Granda
Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada has continued growing throughout the past few years, including the development of the organization’s new Advocacy & Justice Complex, located next to its current headquarters. This new facility will allow Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada to expand services and increase its capacity to help more individuals and families throughout southern Nevada.
“This generous contribution will directly support our ability to expand access to justice for Southern Nevadans in need,” said Barbara Buckley, Executive Director at Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada. “We are so grateful to the Claggett & Sykes team for their partnership and commitment to our mission in providing justice for all.”
Today, Claggett & Sykes has more than 125 employees, including more than 45 attorneys, with offices in Nevada, New York, Connecticut and now Utah, handling the largest and most complex catastrophic loss, personal injury, wrongful death, mass tort, class actions and appeals cases nationwide.
