LAS VEGAS (July 9, 2026) – Nationally recognized Claggett & Sykes Trial Lawyers today announced the expansion of its legal team with the addition of new partners and attorneys, reinforcing the firm’s commitment to providing exceptional representation for clients throughout the country. The additions come during a period of continued momentum for Claggett & Sykes, which has earned national recognition for securing record-setting verdicts and settlements on behalf of individuals and families impacted by negligence and wrongdoing.
“Our clients deserve the very best representation, and that’s not possible without creating a team of best-in-class attorneys and fostering a culture of excellence,” said Matt Granda, managing partner at Claggett & Sykes Trial Lawyers. “All of our new talent bring extraordinary experience in complex litigation and deepen our bench of talented trial lawyers. Together, they strengthen our ability to advocate for clients in some of the most challenging cases we handle. We are thrilled to welcome them to our team as we continue to grow our national practice.”
Jill Chase, Andrew Guzik, and Erica Medley Join as Partners
Jill Chase joins as a partner and trial lawyer, bringing decades of experience representing physicians, hospitals and other medical providers in complex medical malpractice litigation. After building her career on the defense side, Chase now leverages that firsthand knowledge of how healthcare providers and insurers evaluate, defend and litigate malpractice claims to advocate for patients who have been harmed by medical negligence. Her deep understanding of the medical and legal issues involved in these cases, combined with her strategic litigation approach and extensive courtroom experience, strengthens the firm’s ability to achieve outstanding results for clients.
Andrew Guzik joins as a partner on the firm’s mass torts and class action team. Throughout his career, he has litigated complex civil cases in Nevada’s state and federal courts, bringing experience from both the defense and plaintiff sides of the legal profession. After transitioning to plaintiff-side practice, Guzik focused on legal writing and motion practice in catastrophic injury and mass tort cases. Notably, he was part of the team representing the State of Nevada in its litigation against pharmaceutical companies responsible for the opioid crisis, helping secure a landmark $1.2 billion settlement for the state.
Erica Medley joins as a partner in the firm’s mass torts and class action practice. A Harvard Law School LL.M. graduate and summa cum laude graduate of the William S. Boyd School of Law, Medley has built an accomplished career spanning private practice, public service, and military leadership. Medley is a former partner at Holland & Hart LLP, where she practiced complex commercial litigation. After her clerkship for the Honorable Kristina Pickering of the Nevada Supreme Court, Medley served on active duty in the United States Air Force Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps, earning the Air Force JAG School’s Excellence in Advocacy Award and serving as both a prosecutor and defense counsel. She continues her service today as a Major in the U.S. Air Force JAG Corps Reserves.
Andrea Killebrew Joins as Associate Attorney
Andrea Killebrew joins the firm as an associate attorney, expanding the firm’s litigation capabilities and helping meet the growing demand for the firm’s legal services. She represents clients in complex personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, product liability, and negligent security matters.
“Exceptional results begin with exceptional people,” continued Granda. “We are proud to welcome these talented attorneys to the firm and are excited about the experience, perspective and passion they bring to our clients, our team and our mission. Their diverse backgrounds and shared commitment to excellence will help us continue delivering the outstanding representation our clients deserve.”
