LAS VEGAS (July 2026) – The Clark County Clerk and the Vegas Wedding Chamber are extending the deadline for “Vegas Marries the Military,” an annual community initiative offering free weddings and vow renewals in The Wedding Capital of the World to U.S. military personnel and veterans. Couples may submit their love stories, photos and service backgrounds now through Sunday, July 12 for the chance to win one of six custom Las Vegas weddings.
The Vegas Wedding Chamber is also seeking additional wedding and hospitality professionals to donate their time, talent and services in support of this year’s celebration. Officiants, florists, makeup artists, hairstylists, transportation providers, photographers, hotels and other industry partners are encouraged to volunteer as a meaningful way to thank U.S. military personnel and veterans for their service. By contributing to “Vegas Marries the Military,” local businesses help create once-in-a-lifetime wedding experiences while demonstrating the generosity and community spirit that make Southern Nevada the Wedding Capital of the World.
This year’s notable celebration will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 10 and will feature individual ceremonies across Clark County followed by a celebratory group reception at the Vegas Event Center. The Vegas Wedding Chamber will choose six couples — from all branches of the armed forces — to receive fully donated ceremonies, receptions and amenities. The couples will be matched with vendors by the Vegas Wedding Chamber and may invite their closest family and friends.
This year’s reception will include a buffet dinner, wedding cake, live DJ, professional photography, custom décor and surprise guest appearances by community leaders and dignitaries.
“‘Vegas Marries the Military’ is one of the most meaningful examples of what our wedding community can accomplish when we come together,” said Clark County Clerk Lynn Marie Goya. “Every donated bouquet, photograph, hairstyle and cake is a heartfelt thank you to the men and women who have served our nation. We welcome additional wedding professionals to help us create extraordinary celebrations for these deserving couples.”
