Reno, NV., January 20, 2026 – Colliers is proud to announce Ben Nelson has joined its Reno office as a Senior Vice President, bringing more than a decade of experience in commercial real estate investment and development. He joins Colliers as a top multifamily professional specializing in acquisitions and dispositions of multifamily assets, mixed-use development projects and 1031 exchanges.Over the course of his career, Nelson has successfully transacted more than $150 million in market-rate and student housing investments in Northern Nevada. He has represented owners and investors in multifamily transactions and valuations ranging from $1 million to more than $200 million. In addition to sourcing debt and structured finance and publishing market insight reports on multifamily trends, Nelson brings a proven track record of navigating complex deals. Before joining Colliers, he served as Senior Vice President and Shareholder at Kidder Mathews.
