ColorCase, the first retail store in America showcasing Pelican’s industry leading product line of protective cases and high-end coolers, hosted an appreciation event for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s police officers on June 15. The event is the culmination of a month-long promotion with ColorCase pledging to donate $50 to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) Foundation for every officer who visited the store. ColorCase, along with Pelican and GunFoam.com, presented a $15,000 donation to support The Foundation’s mission. The evening was a success with more than 300 active officers in attendance for the appreciation evening event featuring gift bags and raffle prizes of Pelican cases.
“We’re relatively new to Las Vegas, having moved our business here in 2021, and it’s important to us to invest in the local community we now call home. We’ve had many interactions with LVMPD officers as customers and felt compelled to honor the department because we appreciate their commitment to keeping our city safe. This event allows us to do so in a meaningful and personal way,” said Adam Gerard, Vice President of ColorCase.
LVMPD Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises funds to support and supplement Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department programs and initiatives. It was established in 1999 to support LVMPD area commands, special units, equipment, training, and hundreds of community engagement programs and initiatives and crime prevention events that build relationships between law enforcement and the communities they serve.
The donation serves as a token of appreciation for the hard work and sacrifice made by police officers in ensuring the safety and security of the community. Through initiatives like the police officer event and donation to the LVMPD Foundation, Colorcase continues to demonstrate its commitment to giving back to the community and supporting those who selflessly serve and protect others.
