Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas (CASLV) is proud to announce their very own CEO and Executive Director Ercan Aydogdu has been named Executive of the Year by the Vegas Chamber. The recognition was presented at the Chamber’s Business of the Year Awards which were held on Thursday, October 12, at the Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino.
“I am thrilled to receive this honor and have the hard work we put in every day for children’s education recognized,” said Aydogdu. “I share this honor with my fellow educators and staff, who work tirelessly to provide a world class education for our students.”
The Executive of the Year honor is meant for an individual who exemplifies innovative and strategic vision of the company, while executing a culture of inclusivity, creativity and achieving business growth in both reach and revenue.
“It is a pleasure to see Mr. Aydogdu’s efforts acknowledged and celebrated,” said Ann Diggins, President of the Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas Board of Governors. “Since Mr. Aydogdu has been the Executive Director he has shown himself to be a leader who values and inspires an inclusive and welcoming learning environment for all students, teachers and staff. Our Board values and knows the importance of his good work to the success of each of the Coral campuses. I can’t think of a better administrator to earn the title of Executive of the Year.”
Aydogdu holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics Teaching and a Master’s in Educational Administration. He has been working in the education field for 28 years. He has been serving as the executive director of Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas since 2012. During his leadership, CASLV expanded to seven campuses with 5,500 students.
