Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas (CASLV), a trailblazer in national education, is pleased to announce that three of its campuses have been honored with top Diamond awards from the Nevada Positive Behavior Support Technical Assistance Center. The recognition is part of a larger statewide initiative to utilize the Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) frameworks to create learning environments that support students holistically, including their academic, behavioral, and emotional success. Coral Academy’s Centennial Hills, Tamarus, and Windmill campuses received a Diamond recognition out of 51 schools and eight school districts across Nevada. Additionally, CASLV’s Eastgate and Sandy Ridge campuses both received Gold recognition.

The Nevada MTSS project framework has been implemented by one-third of schools in Nevada and highlights the importance of building systems that focus on students holistically. The Nevada Positive Behavior Support Technical Assistance Center determines award winners annually by a panel of local experts according to each school’s level of MTSS and PBIS framework implementation. All schools recognized will be honored at the Nevada Association of Positive Behavior Support conference in February 2025 and will have the opportunity to share their success strategies and inspire other schools in their effort to raise the bar for education in Nevada.
