Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas (CASLV), a public charter school for K-12, is pleased to announce that it has been voted a winner in four categories in the Las Vegas Review Journal’s annual Best of Las Vegas competition. CASLV achieved Gold for Best Charter School, Best Elementary School, Best Middle School and Best High School. Best of Las Vegas is the largest, local contest in the United States with nominees and winners being determined by public vote.
“We are thrilled to have Coral Academy be awarded by the 2022 Best of Las Vegas Awards and to take home the gold in four separate categories,” said Ercan Aydogdu, executive director and CEO of CASLV. “These recognitions are an honor and bring confidence in our mission to provide students with a top-quality STEM education from elementary all the way through high school. This is the third year that CASLV has been awarded gold for Best Elementary School and Best Middle School and the fourth year CASLV has received a gold designation for Best High School in the Best of Las Vegas Awards. Previous recognitions include: 2017 silver for Best Charter School and Best Middle School, 2017 bronze for Best Elementary School, 2018 silver for Best Charter School, 2019 silver for Best Charter School, 2020 gold for Best Charter School and 2021 silver for Best Charter School.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal has been conducting the Best of Las Vegas awards since 1981 and this year marks its 41st edition. This year there were over 400 nomination categories with over 9.8 million votes cast.
