On Wednesday, Dec. 10, Credit One Bank once again joined popular radio host Chet Buchanan for the 27th annual 98.5 KLUC Chet Buchanan Show Toy Drive benefiting local nonprofit HELP of Southern Nevada. Participating in the toy drive is a holiday tradition and an integral part of Credit One Bank’s mission to give back to its community through donations of time, resources and funding.
This year, the Bank donated 435 toys, 27 bikes and a check for $6,497 all of which was raised within the organization through a friendly competition between departments over the last few weeks.
A pillar in the Las Vegas community, Credit One Bank supports a variety of local nonprofits. Its innovative Number One Fan initiative gives families and individuals experiencing adversity the chance to experience their favorite sports games with VIP treatment, getting exclusive access to premiere seats and unique activations, such as participating in the Vegas Golden Knights parade or pre-game field passes for Las Vegas Raiders games. This year also saw the continuation of the ‘One For the Community’ scholarship program, which gave 21 college-bound high school students $2,500 to apply towards their first year of school. The scholarships can be renewed for up to three additional years, bringing the total scholarship amount to $10,000 per student.
