Division of Workforce and Economic Development (DWED) to host Apprenticeship Career Pathway Event
The College of Southern Nevada will hold an Apprenticeship Career Pathway event for National Apprenticeship Week (Nov. 14-20). CSN Apprenticeship Studies- a Division of Workforce and Economic Development, will host various trades from the Southern Nevada Building Trades Apprenticeship Program.
Representatives from the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 525, the United Brotherhood of Carpenters, Ironworkers Local 433, Laborers Local 872, Sheet Metal Workers Local 88, Teamsters Local 631, Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Local 13 will be on site to explain apprenticeship pathways.
Representatives from Adult Career Education Services (A.C.E.S.) will also present information for High School Equivalency testing, Manufacturing, and Community Health Care Trainings.
