De Castroverde Law sponsored the Las Vegas Storm 14UAA Girls Hockey Team’s trip to the USA Hockey National Championships by donating $1,000 to support the team’s travel expenses. The firm’s donation sparked additional donations from the community, helping the team reach its goal.
The trip marked the team’s first appearance at nationals, held in Rochester, Michigan, March 25 through 29. The Storm recently won the Pacific District Championship, which secured their spot in the national competition to represent Nevada.
“Supporting our local community is at the heart of everything we do at De Castroverde Law. We’re proud to support the Las Vegas Storm Girls Hockey Team as they represent our city on a national stage at the USA Hockey National Championships,” said Alex De Castroverde, partner and co-founder of De Castroverde Law. “These young athletes have worked incredibly hard to earn this opportunity, and we’re honored to help make their journey possible.”
On Saturday, March 28, the Las Vegas Storm advanced to the semifinal round of the national tournament, where their season came to an end.
