Reno, Nev. – Dermody—a diversified private equity investment management company focused exclusively on the national logistics real estate sector—has broken ground on its new Nevada headquarters, which will be located at 5420 Mill Street in Reno. The new 12,519 square-foot Nevada headquarters is scheduled for completion in fall 2026. It will also be LEED certified, a nod to the company’s focus on sustainability and long-term investment in the state. United Construction is the general contractor.
“Our new Nevada headquarters represents more than just physical expansion; it’s the culmination of a long-held vision,” said Douglas A. Kiersey, Jr., CEO and President at Dermody. “With Reno housing our largest concentration of employees, we wanted to reinforce our presence here in a way that reflects the excellence of our company. It’s about honoring our roots. We started here, and we’re proud of our history in this community.”
“For me personally, this new headquarters signifies an ongoing legacy,” said Michael C. Dermody, Executive Chairman at Dermody. “I’m proud of the company Dermody has become and of the growth we continue to see both here in Nevada and across all of our regions nationally.”
