RENO, Nev. – As part of its ongoing commitment to the Northern Nevada community, Dolan Auto Group and Custom Truck Accessories participated in the 6th Annual Moon Rocks Cleanup hosted by Friends of Moon Rocks on Saturday, May 30. Team members joined volunteers and off-road enthusiasts to help remove debris, restore trails and preserve the beauty of the popular outdoor recreation area.
The event, which drew volunteers from around the community, focused on protecting the delicate desert ecosystem and keeping public lands clean and accessible for all. Volunteers collected trash, cleared illegal dump sites and reinforced responsible use of the Moon Rocks area — a favorite destination for off-roading, hiking and camping.
“Supporting organizations like Friends of Moon Rocks is one of the ways we show up in our local community,” said Ryan Dolan, CEO of Dolan Auto Group. “We’re proud to get out here and roll up our sleeves to keep this space in good condition for the future.”
Additionally, Dolan and Custom Truck Accessories provided a vehicle to help gather the trash, along with water and additional supplies. The volunteering efforts reinforce Dolan Auto Group’s dedication to giving back to the Northern Nevada region it has served for decades.
The cleanup effort is part of Dolan Auto Group’s broader employee volunteer initiative, which provides team members with paid time off to participate in community service projects throughout Northern Nevada.
