Carson City – Home At Last, a program of the Nevada Rural Housing Authority (NRHA), has presented Doug Kaller, loan officer for Academy Mortgage Corporation in Reno, the Very Important Partner (VIP) Award for Northern Nevada.
The VIP award is given to professionals who help NRHA and the Home At Last program fulfill the mission of promoting, providing and financing affordable housing opportunities for all rural Nevadans. The Home At Last program offers customized assistance solutions to homebuyers, and Kaller demonstrates a steadfast dedication to ensuring anyone, from any part of rural Nevada, who has the chance to benefit from the program is engaged and assisted.
“Kaller has been a stellar VIP for years and we’re thrilled to recognize his achievements,” said Diane Arvizo, NRHA Director of Homeownership Programs. “He holds homebuyer workshops year-round to make sure homebuyers know about the exclusive programs we offer. He recently co-hosted a certified REALTOR workshop where nearly 50 local REALTORS received their Home At Last certification. He has reserved loans as far away as Laughlin, and he’s always willing to help homebuyers no matter their situation.”
Kaller has been a Mortgage Loan Originator in Northern Nevada since 2003. He is also a Certified FHA Specialist, Certified Mortgage Coach, Certified Military Housing Specialist, and FICO Pro with Academy Mortgage.
