LAS VEGAS – November 7, 2024 – Cure 4 The Kids Foundation (C4K) is delighted to welcome Dr. Drishti Ragoonanan to Southern Nevada’s only pediatric cancer and rare disease treatment center.
As a board-certified pediatric hematology-oncology physician, Dr. Ragoonanan joins 18 other highly trained providers at the clinic, treating children and young adults affected by pediatric cancer, blood and bleeding disorders, and rare diseases.
Her arrival at the clinic further exemplifies C4K’s commitment and success at recruiting highly skilled medical providers to Southern Nevada, ultimately providing treatment to children in Nevada and neighboring states.
Born and raised in Trinidad and Tobago, Dr. Ragoonanan completed her medical training at the University of the West Indies and pursued a pediatric residency at the University of Miami. She then went on to complete fellowships in both pediatric hemotology-oncology and stem cell transplant and cellular therapy at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Ragoonanan is a devoted mother of two children and enjoys her free time by baking and traveling.
