Season Two of Elevate Reno for 2024
RENO, Nev. (January 19, 2024) – The Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada (EDAWN) is pleased to announce season two of the widely acclaimed Elevate Reno event, serving as a platform for Nevada entrepreneurs to showcase their startups.
Scheduled for February 7, at Craft Beer & Wine in Reno. EDAWN is currently seeking companies interested in presenting. Founders will have the opportunity to refine their presentations and receive real-world feedback from a distinguished panel of evaluators.
Senior Vice President of Entrepreneurial Development, Doug Erwin said the event is a great way to continue EDAWN’s mission to foster a positive business culture in northern Nevada.
“Building on the success of last year’s Elevate Reno events, culminating in a cash prize competition at Reno Startup Week, we are excited to embark on season two with the anticipation of more compelling pitches and meaningful networking, further showcasing the entrepreneurial spirit in Northern Nevada.
Founders and CEO’s wishing to present in 2024 should apply on the Elevate Reno website (www.elevatereno.org).
There’s no cost for audience members or presenters, but pre-registration is required at ElevateReno.org.
Founders will have six minutes each to pitch their business with follow-up questions from the panel of evaluators comprised of local investors, entrepreneurs and business leaders who will provide valuable feedback to presenters.
“This is as much about allowing entrepreneurs to get in front of an audience as it is allowing the audience to see the innovative ideas blossoming in our area,” Erwin said.
Elevate Reno is open to the public at no charge and is presented by EDAWN. Networking begins at 5:00 pm, February 7, 2024, at Craft Beer & Wine, 22 Martin Street, Reno. Refreshments will be provided. Elevate Reno is an official Reno Startup Week event.
