Helix Electric LLC. (Helix Electric), recently partnered with Eddy House in Reno for a volunteer event where employees conducted a course to encourage Eddy House clients to explore pathways into the trades. This initiative aimed to provide at-risk and homeless youth with viable opportunities for stable and lucrative employment. The course covered various aspects of trade careers, emphasizing the benefits of apprenticeship programs and job training offered by Helix Electric. Following the informative session, attendees enjoyed an ice cream social, fostering a sense of community and support. Eddy House, a vital resource for Northern Nevada’s at-risk youth, works tirelessly to equip young adults with the skills needed for sustainable independence and to combat youth homelessness through comprehensive programs and services.
