LAS VEGAS– FEA Consulting Engineers Principal and award-winning engineer Justin Veilleux is bringing his drive for STEM innovation and community impact to his new role as a board member for DISCOVERY Children’s Museum. This partnership unites engineering leadership with hands-on learning to inspire the next generation of problem solvers across Southern Nevada.

Veilleux is among the few engineers in Nevada with a Professional Engineer (PE) license in both electrical and mechanical engineering and is also a LEED Accredited Professional in Building Design + Construction. At FEA, he leads teams in electrical, low voltage and lighting design, ensuring projects are high-quality, innovative and sustainable from start to finish.
His professional achievements include recognition on Consulting-Specifying Engineer Magazine’s “40 Under 40” list (2019) and being named the UNLV College of Engineering’s Alumnus of the Year (2019). A proud UNLV graduate, Veilleux earned his bachelor’s degree in computer engineering and completed his MBA in 2020 while working full-time in the industry.
Dedicated to supporting the next generation, Veilleux has chaired the UNLV Howard R. Hughes College of Engineering Alumni Board, led FEA’s internship program and mentored students who have gone on to careers at NASA and Northrop Grumman. He also visits local schools and organizes hands-on demonstrations to inspire young students to pursue STEM.
The DISCOVERY Children’s Museum in Downtown Las Vegas features nine hands-on galleries and welcomes about 250,000 visitors each year. Its mission is to spark creativity, innovation and lifelong learning through exhibits, field trips and community partnerships that ensure children from all backgrounds can access its resources.
