LAS VEGAS (July 2026) – Ferraro’s Ristorante invites guests to experience its next Taste & Learn on Saturday, Aug. 29 at 5 p.m. with wines from Grosjean. Taste & Learn is Ferraro’s popular, monthly wine-tasting event that provides illuminating wine education along with a menu of imaginative, authentic Italian small plates created by Ferraro’s executive chef Mimmo Ferraro.
Nestled in Italy’s alpine Aosta Valley, Grosjean is one of the region’s most respected family-owned wineries. For generations, the Grosjean family has cultivated vineyards surrounded by dramatic mountain peaks, producing wines that express the distinctive character of the valley’s high-altitude terroir. Grosjean showcases both indigenous and international grape varieties through elegant, vibrant wines that reflect the freshness, minerality and authenticity of northwestern Italy.
Taste & Learn attendees will begin with Petite Arvine, a crisp and aromatic white wine offering vibrant citrus, white blossom and stone fruit flavors balanced by bright acidity and mineral notes. The tasting continues with Gamay, a lively red featuring fresh raspberry, cherry and subtle spice characteristics. Next is Pinot Noir, an elegant expression with aromas of red berries, delicate floral notes and silky tannins. The experience concludes with Torrette, Aosta Valley’s signature red blend, delivering layers of dark cherry, blackberry, herbs and gentle spice with remarkable structure and balance.
“Italy is full of remarkable wine regions, and Aosta Valley is one that deserves more attention,” said Mimmo Ferraro, executive chef, Ferraro’s. “These mountain-grown wines have a freshness and character that make them especially exciting to pair with seasonal Italian dishes.”
